Driving Tips in Austria
To drive on the motorways and expressways in Austria you must purchase a toll sticker which can bought from most petrol station or tobacconists. There is also an additional toll payable on the major expressways - A13 Bremner, A9 Pyhm, A10 Tauren and S16 Arlberg Tunnel.

Seat Belts: are compulsory in both front and rear of vehicle. Children under 12 and under 1.5 metres in height must use suitable child restraints.
Visibility Jackets: It is compulsory in Austria to carry visibility jackets for use if you need to walk on a motorway or if you break down and need to use a red triangle or there is bad visibility on any other roads.
Headlights: Dipped headlights must be used during the day.
