Visit Kvadraturen with its buildings from the 17th and the 18th century. Haugesund is a small lively town where one can marvel at the numerous historic sites.
Where to drive: Drive to Roan and marvel at the ruins of a Viking town enjoying the landscape and cultural heritage.. Take your car to Bergen and drive to Mount Floyen which give you the best views of the city, or enjoy some time at Bergen Aquarium or visit the famous conductor Edvard Grieg's house and admire his great history. And if you have enough time you can always drive to Sweden and visit Gothenburg and enjoy attractions such as Skansen Kronan, a hilltop fortification built in the 17th century.
