Toll Roads: There are several toll roads in Portugal. Avoid the green lanes as these are for drivers who have prepaid. Make sure you have enough currency to pay the toll or you will incur a fine.
Visibility Jackets: By law it is only Portuguese residents that must carry a reflective jacket at all times in the car. However, it is advisable for tourists to also carry them as local officials may still impose fines for failure to do so.
