The booking was easy, I have used Auto Europe before, but this is where it ended when transfered to goldcar.
I will not recommend Auto Europe if there is a link to Goldcar, otherwise it is a yes.
About the service from the local car rental company
Change the staff.
Stop pre purchase for a tank of fuel, how do you expect anyone to do 900km in Ibiza in 10 days? and no refund.
Stop pressurising people to buy additional insurance, over and over and over again.
Speed up collection of car, one and half hours is beyond acceptable.
The cost of the car and fuel was near to using Hertz who have the benefit of pick up/ drop off at the airport, if I had purchased the extra insurance it would have been more expensive.
Next time I will be using an airport located company.
Note we travel to Ibiza yearly, and often twice in the same year.

Sounded like a good deal online but found that add on costs reduced competitiveness and value for money.

Was surprised to be taken off site, I felt the pick up process with too slow and not enough staff to deal with demand. Had to buy for fuel which was never going to be used and lost money as a result. Had to pay for additional insurance which wasn't really explained properly.

Car was not ready when we arrived so had to wait. Alos had to pay 500 euros deposit which you never informed me would be required. Also they charded 17 euros for not much more than a pint of fuel.

Booking through auto europe gave me a price half of that quoted by avis, even though I ended up with an avis car in the end - excellent value.

Picking up car took forever from Avis/Budget desk. They'd run out of cars, had to wait, and there were only 2 people on the very slow desk to serve about 10 people newly arrived. Process lasted nearly an hour, even though i was second the queue.

Overall satisfied but had to go through Avis desk at Ibiza airport where 2 staff members took 40 mins to process bookings - not good. Apart from this all good.
