Your instructions said that the Dollar rental area could be found in the arrivals hall at Las Vegas airport. In fact, since July 2012, there is a single car rental area for all rental providers which can only be reached by taking a complimentary shuttle bus.

Very satisfied with the vehicle but not happy that roadside assistance was an additional cost and very unhappy with the compulsory charge of a full fuel tank and "return fuel tank empty" policy. The latter practice is just downright sharp practice. My extras came to over US$ 100 when I thought that I had selected AutoEurope on the basis of good price paid in full and upfront.

1. service at car handover area very casual, staff not in uniforms or wearing any badges to indicate they worked for Dollar
2. car came with quite a few dings and scratches that had to get staff to record to avoid problems later. this was written on piece of paper, rather than marked on diagram of car

The car advertised was a make and model the rental company don't own and haven't owned for over a year. Whilst I appreciate the 'similar to' is there to cover a situation where there isn't a specific model available I would expect the company to at least have some of those vehicles available.

They were polite and apologetic about not having the vehicle model in stock but were unable to give me an explanation as to why the vehicle in question was used in the advertisement to begin with. They do not have any of the model advertised. I think it's very misleading
