Winter Season - November 15th to March 31st

• Austria has a compulsory winter season fee which covers winter driving equipment (snow-chains or tyres)
• Some car hire providers include this fee in their pricing and others do not.
  The Auto Europe booking system will notify you whether the fee is included or payable locally with the car you have chosen. If payable locally the fee will be specified in advance.
• Ski racks that hold two pairs of skis can be hired. Remember to request them when you book. There is a pre-agreed local charge for these on collection.
  Only larger vehicles can carry ski racks, you will need a compact sized car or above (not mini or economy)
