If you do not have exact change, the Jamaica toll booth operators will give you change, however if you do not have enough cash you will be refused entry and will have to use the reverse lane to turn around and go back. If you choose a prepaid TAG card then you can use the special TAG-only lanes that scan your card and then take exact payments so you can move quickly through the toll road.
In the main cities of Kingston and Montego Bay, the town centres are often very busy, so car parking can be limited. Be careful about where you park, your car hire in Kingston, as many people double park their cars in order to get a space.
